Co-branding with Alcohol

We are exploring the idea of promoting the True Blood beverage as a mixer. Since we're not planning an actual blood drive, and that element of the truck outside the event doesn't seem like it's going to be a part anymore; the strategy of making this more than a gimmick product is emerging.

In reality it's being created to make fangirls happy, generate some sales on the site and ultimately promote the show. They're doing that without our help. On the other hand, we're not proposing making this beverage for mass release. As a mixer, we can appeal to a wider audience and find a rich middle ground for realistic promotion. It has legs for in-store cross promotion and beyond. Does this seem strategic or too complicated? Harry

  1. Hey Harry!
i liked your idea but then for co-branding do we have to come up with some branding piece as the company would want to have it own little element and not just the logo.
I hope we dont make it too complicated and lets stick to our event and we can always give option
of co-branding. But i was thinking that with a launch of one beverage( TRUBLOOD) are we putting it behind by co-branding it with some alcoholic drink.
    Just a thought.
